What are the most common types of Pompano Beach animals that eat your garden?

There are a whole host of Florida animals of all sizes that can be totally devastating to your garden. Most of the damage will be done by the animals either eating the plants themselves or digging around the garden looking for grubs and worms. The most common enemies of your garden will be:
• deer
• Florida raccoons
• rabbits
• mice
• moles
• skunks
• Chipmunks
• Pompano Beach squirrels
• woodchucks

That is not a complete list by any means but it is a good start. Some of the Florida animals on the list will only eat the part of the plant that grows above ground, others will only eat part of the plant that grows belowground and some of them will eat the whole plant. For some of these animals growing certain plants is actually a deterrent for them, moles do not like bulb type plants, daffodils is a good one or if you want to be able to eat what you grow then grow garlic or onions.

Most destructive Pompano Beach animals that visit your garden will only do so on a seasonal basis, a lot of gardeners these days are encouraged to share the environment with the animals as long as the damage is kept to a minimum, they how you do that with something like a raccoon seeming to want to redevelop your whole garden for you I don't know. A lot of the animals that live on the aboveground part of the plant will eat just about anything that is green, they don't care if it's vegetables, fruits or decoratives, so another suggestion is that you set about discouraging the wildlife from your vegetable patch and let them have their way with the flower gardens.

There are numerous ways to keep the Florida animals away from a garden if you really want to protect it, you can put a fence around it and bury it deep enough so the burrowers can't get through it, you can install both motion activated water sprinklers and motion activated light systems, because a lot of your visitors will be nocturnal and the critters will quickly get the idea. It really is up to you to decide what you're going to try and protect and what you may be prepared to sacrifice if you have to. You also need to decide to what lengths you're going to go to get the critters out of your garden.
